About the Author

Tina Trent

Pastor Tina Trent was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida. In 1988, she had a life-changing experience when she received eternal life and pursued the call of God on her life. Soon after, she went to work on staff at her church, where she served for over thirty years on the pastoral staff and as an executive pastor. She has taught Bible in a Christian school for many years and has a passion for sharing the love of God and helping others learn about the gospel of Jesus Christ. She also served on the advisory board of a youth evangelism, international ministry, where she served for eighteen years.

Pastor Tina assisted in three revisions of the youth curriculum that have been taught around the world. Inspired by God, she wrote a Bible-based, easy-to-understand cur- riculum in 1996 on how to share your faith for adults and youth called Friendly Faith Sharing (FFS). Through the years, FFS has continued to develop and grow. She also wrote a specialized curriculum tailored for prison ministry and has taught thousands of prisoners at Lawtey Correctional Institution on how to effectively share their faith. She went on to develop and write Kid’s Friendly Faith Sharing curriculum and has taught Kids FFS for many years, training up a future generation of leaders. Kids FFS is currently translated into two languages.

Pastor Tina has a passion for the local church and its missions. She has conducted pastor’s training nationally and internationally as well as trained thousands of preschoolers, kids, youth, adults, pastors, and prisoners to effectively share their faith. She has trained and led adults and youth on many international mission trips to share and teach the gospel. Currently, she continues to lead and counsel others and consults and helps church leadership.

Pastor Tina will continue to faithfully fulfill the great commission of Jesus that tells us to “go into all the world and share the good news” (Mark 16:15) and to “make disciples of all nations baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit” (Matthew 28:19).
